“Boy Skin,” and "Fifteen," Screendoor Review, 2025

The poem, "Boy Skin," is a duplex, a nonce form invented by Jericho Brown (one of my favorite poets). It explores my complex relationship to gender, domestic abuse, and escapism. Additionally, "Fifteen" remembers the exploitation and examination of consent experienced at the pivotal age of only fifteen.
